Founded in 1981, Pilgrims' Inn has been at the forefront of the fight against homelessness and hunger in Rock Hill for 45 years. Frustrated by the difficulty of finding help as a widow with four children at home, Trish Kuhlkin set out to create a safe place that provides help for physical needs in a caring and compassionate manner, helping to restore the dignity of every client.
Today the campus of Pilgrims' Inn serves as a hub to provide emergency help for those who are hurting, and a system of ongoing support and guidance to help them create a more stable, independent future.
